ESPN to broadcast Korean Baseball Organization games

Hallelujah! It seems that we may be able to watch baseball as early as Tuesday ... well, not Major League Baseball, but Korean Baseball Organization games.

ESPN has finalized a deal to broadcast KBO games six days a week, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan.

While there are currently no North American sports leagues in action due to the coronavirus pandemic, this is going to be a breath of fresh air for fans who have been craving sports over the last month and a half.

Here is the list of teams in the league:

  • Doosan Bears: Six titles
  • Kiwoom Heroes: Zero titles
  • SK Wyverns: Four titles
  • LG Twins: Two titles.
  • NC Dinos: Zero titles.
  • kt wiz: Zero titles
  • KIA Tigers: 11 titles
  • Samsung Lions: eight titles
  • Hanwha Eagles: One title
  • Lotte Giants: Two titles

Obviously a majority of people would prefer MLB over KBO, but this is a start, and it gives fans something to look forward to six nights a week.

When it comes down to it, all you have to do is pick a favorite team and root for that team, right? While the KIA Tigers and Samsung Lions are easily the most talented and have the most titles, there are plenty of teams to choose from.
