Chicago White Sox outfielder Gavin Sheets exited Wednesday night's ballgame against the Los Angeles Dodgers early. The team is calling the injury a " jammed left heel ". He was replaced by Corey Julks in right field.

As per the White Sox statement Sheets is currently being further evaluated. Updates on his availability going forward are still forthcoming.
Sheets has been a staple in the middle of the order for Chicago this season. The left-handed slugger has slashed .241/.336/.405 with seven home runs in 274 plate appearances entering play on June 26th.
According to James Fegan, Sheets' x-rays were negative and he is currently listed as day-to-day with a heel bruise.
