Back to the winning side with yesterday’s MLB Parlay picks. Both moneyline plays cashed, and somehow the Astros managed only one run against the Rockies, Tanner Gordon. 2-1 ATS nonetheless, and it’s onto Wednesday’s parlay selections. Our season record climbs up a notch to 74-57 ATS YTD. Loyal followers know we target games, seeing respected money and, more precisely, reverse line movements. We have three additional selections on tap for you, along with some additional leans based strictly on the initial line movement. Betting lines discussed are the consensus at Vegas Insider and are subject to change.
In the leadoff spot for today’s MLB Parlay is the Baltimore Orioles over the Boston Red Sox. The sharp bettors are backing the birds tonight. We have a significant reverse line movement here as Orioles odds keep falling despite seeing just 24% of the money. Baltimore opened up as a +164 underdog, and the line has now dropped to +116. They are 6-4 SU in their last 10 games as an underdog and a profitable 3-2 in their last five as an underdog against the Sox. We follow the respected money in this and take the Baltimore Orioles for play number one!
In the middle of today’s MLB parlay lineup, we have the Toronto Blue Jays team total over 4.5 runs. Toronto looks to bounce back after losing to Minnesota last night. Despite the loss, the Jays still plated five runs and have scored 15 runs in the first two games of the series. They are also averaging six runs per game in their last five overall.
Minnesota probable starter Simeon Woods-Richardson is returning from a stint on IL. In his three starts prior, he posted a 5.20 ERA across 12.1 innings pitched. The Twins have lost six of their last eight games and are allowing just under seven runs per game. We like our chances here; the Toronto Blue Jays team total is over 4.5 runs for play number two!
The closing leg tonight features the Pittsburgh Pirates over the St. Louis Cardinals. We spotted a second reverse line movement here as the Pirates are seeing just 35% of the money, and the line keeps moving in their direction. Pittsburgh opened up as a +194 underdog and currently sits at +146. The Pirates have won four of five and are 6-4 in their last 10. In addition, they are 4-1 in the previous five as an underdog. Cardinals scheduled starter Sonny Gray is 12-6 on the season but has an ERA over four and has been touched up for nine earned runs in his last 10 innings pitched. Pittsburgh Pirates on the money line for play number three!
Additional Leans: Astros TT over 4.5, Reds ML
Our MLB parlays provide followers with three individual wagers. We will play these picks SU and then sprinkle some on the parlay. Remember, the hit rate on a three-team parlay is about 6-1, and parlays in general are just not a long-term profitable betting strategy. Hitting on the parlay is simply icing on the cake. We try to avoid public plays, which tend to be the betting favorites. Please follow us on X and Facebook as the MLB season continues toward the Fall Classic. Let’s keep our successful MLB season going and get you another three winners. And remember to: Follow or Fade!
