The injury-plagued New York Mets finally got some good news on Sunday ahead of their series against the Colorado Rockies.
Ace Jacob deGrom will return to the mound Tuesday at Citi Field after a stint on the 10-day injured list, Mets manager Luis Rojas said, according to Tim Healey of Newsday:

DeGrom has been sidelined since May 10 with right-side tightness.
The 32-year-old is off to an incredible start this season, going 3-2 with a 0.68 ERA, 0.600 WHIP and 65 strikeouts in 40 innings. He's also hitting .467 with two RBI on seven hits.
Although deGrom will make his much-anticipated return, the Mets are still without Pete Alonso, Michael Conforto, Brandon Nimmo, Jeff McNeil, J.D. Davis, Kevin Pillar, Carlos Carrasco and Noah Syndergaard.
The Mets are first in the NL East with a 21-18 record despite all of their injuries, which is quite impressive.
