Kansas City Royals Starting Pitcher Noah Cameron has been great over his first four career starts. He is the second left-hander in the modern era to pitch at least 6.0 innings while allowing no more than 1 run in each of his first four career starts. He joined Fernando Valenzuela on that exclusive list.
Cameron is the No. 5 prospect in the Royals farm system. He is 2-1 this season with a 1.05 ERA. He has had starts against the Tampa Bay Rays, St. Louis Cardinals, Minnesota Twins, and Cincinnati Reds. Will he be able to continue pitching well for the Kansas City Royals?

Kansas City is in fourth place in the American League Central with a 30-27 record. Their offense has been poor. They are 14th in batting average, 30th in home runs, and 27th in runs scored. Third Baseman Maikel Garcia is 11th in the league in batting average. The rest of the team’s lineup has not been playing up to their potential.
The Royals have one of the league’s best pitching staffs. They are second in ERA, 13th in opposing batting average, and seventh in WHIP. Starting Pitcher Kris Bubic has been tremendous this year. He is second in the league in ERA and top 20 in strikeouts and WHIP. KC’s bullpen has also been strong. Carlos Estevez is third in the league in saves and Lucas Erceg is fourth in holds.
Cameron’s next scheduled start is against the St. Louis Cardinals on the road June 4. He will look to keep pitching well and getting his career started on the right foot.
