Kay Adams threw out a brutal first pitch at Cubs game

Kay Adams had the honor of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch before Wednesday’s Chicago Cubs- Cleveland Guardians game at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Ill. She did not exactly bring her best stuff.

Adams, who is a southpaw and the host of “Up & Adams” show, skied a pitch attempt that went up the first base line and bounced well before reaching anywhere near the plate. That bad pitch did not stop her from getting a hug from Cubs mascot Clark afterwards.

Adams was not shaken despite her poor pitch.

“This one was for Bob Uecker,” she wrote on X.

Uecker is the former Milwaukee Brewers announcer who died in January at the age of 90.

Adams also commented on her bond with the Cubs mascot.

The question for you is this: whose first pitch was worse, Adams’ or Taylor Lewan’s? Adams joked that she wanted to recreate Lewan’s bad first pitch. She ended up doing so inadvertently.
