Look of the Day for Monday 6/3: Fade Zack Wheeler and Phils

Look of the Day: Milwaukee Brewers +1.5 (-111 FanDuel)

The Milwaukee Brewers take on the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday night, and we're looking for the NL Central leaders to keep this one close or pull off the upset.

It's tough to stomach fading Zack Wheeler, but it's not as scary as you might think. The right-hander has given up 10 earned runs over his last four starts, and the Phillies are only 6-6 in his 12 starts this year. This is also the best lineup Wheeler has faced all season, as the Brewers rank second in MLB in batting average (.266) and OPS (.767) against right-handed pitching. 

Milwaukee is on fire at the plate right now. Over the last week, the Brewers are batting .296 with a .798 OPS. They're averaging 6.8 runs per game in that span. Milwaukee also ranks first in the league in batting average (.277) and fourth in OPS (.762) against righties over the last two weeks. 

The Brewers are rolling with Bryse Wilson, who's sporting a 3.19 ERA through 48 innings of work this year. He should have some success against a Phillies lineup that's batting just .230 with a .643 OPS against righties over the last two weeks. If Wilson can keep it close, the Brewers will have the advantage in the later innings due to their strong bullpen.
