Los Angeles Dodgers With Miserable 6-Game Stretch

The Los Angeles Dodgers are mired in a terrible stretch. The MLB All-Star break cannot come at a better time for the ballclub. Los Angeles lost 3-2 earlier today in 10 innings to the Milwaukee Brewers. It was the Dodgers’ sixth consecutive loss.

They were embarrassed in a three-game series at home against the Houston Astros. The Dodgers then hit the road and were swept in a three-game set against the Milwaukee Brewers. Los Angeles has been outscored 44-10 over their last six games. When will the Los Angeles Dodgers get back in the win column?

Los Angeles Dodgers Season Summary

Even with their recent struggles, Los Angeles is still leading the National League West. Even with a terrible offensive performance over the last week, LA features one of the league’s best offenses. They are fourth in the league in batting average, second in home runs, and leading the league in runs scored. The offense has been paced by Designated Hitter Shohei Ohtani. He is third in the league in home runs, third in Slugging Percentage, and third in OPS.

LA’s pitching staff has been the weaker part of the ballclub in 2025. They are 23rd in ERA, 21st in WHIP, and 17th in opposing batting average. A reason for a disappointing performance on the mound is that Los Angeles is dealing with a rash of injuries throughout the staff. Yoshinobu Yamamoto has been LA’s best pitcher this season. He is 17th in the league in ERA and 13th in WHIP.

Final Thoughts

The Los Angeles Dodgers close out the first half of the regular season with three games on the road against the San Francisco Giants. Los Angeles has a great roster, but has not been playing up to their potential as of late. Hopefully, the All-Star break will give the ballclub a chance to recalibrate and get back to playing winning baseball.
