If you know anything about Houston Astros fandom, you've probably heard of Mattress Mack -- the businessman and die-hard Astros fan known for betting exorbitant amounts of money on his favorite ballclub.
Well, Jim McIngvale is at it again, and he's looking for his biggest payday yet.
The Gallery Furniture owner told Bleacher Report that he placed a $10 million dollar wager on Houston to win the World Series. The bet could return $75 million, making it the biggest payout in sports betting history.

This isn't McIngvale's first rodeo, so to speak, as he has been wagering on his favorite team for years now. He placed a $2 million bet on the Astros to win it all in 2021, a bet that would have returned just over $35 million had Houston not been defeated by the Atlanta Braves.
McIngvale is also continuing the tradition of offering his customers a chance to play along this postseason as well. According to CBS Sports, he is offering a customer who purchased $5,000 worth of furniture a whopping $10,000 back if Houston wins the Fall Classic. And that is just one of the promotions MvIngvale is offering to his customers.
Houston rallied to defeat the Seattle Mariners 8-7 in the first game of their postseason divisional series on Tuesday.
