May 4, 2025; Baltimore, Maryland, USA; Baltimore Orioles center fielder Cedric Mullins (31) watches his home run against the Kansas City Royals during the fifth inning at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

The Los Angeles Dodgers, despite having numerous injuries on the pitching side, still have a loaded roster with most of the necessary spots filled. Los Angeles is 30-19 and sit atop the National League West.

However, a team like the Dodgers is always looking to improve wherever there are potential weaknesses.

Even though they have a decimated pitching staff, they may not look to the trade market to acquire anyone because of the high-quality arms that will eventually return. Those players include Blake Snell, Tyler Glasnow, and, hopefully, Shohei Ohtani.

In a recent piece by Bleacher Report, writer Kerry Miller named a player for each team likely to be traded by the deadline. For the Dodgers, he named pitching prospect Nick Frasso, who is currently 26 years old, and playing for Triple-A Oklahoma City. He is the 12th-ranked prospect in the Dodgers' system.

In the same article, Miller names Cedric Mullins of the struggling Baltimore Orioles as likely to be traded before August.

A potential trade for the Dodgers could be sending away Frasso and outfielder James Outman for Cedric Mullins.

The Dodgers have Andy Pages patrolling center field as of now, but with Michael Conforto really underperforming at the plate, it might be time for a change in left field, where Mullins or Pages can play. Mullins has 10 home runs on the season, and with the Orioles in free fall, now is the best time to sell high on him.

As for Outman with the Dodgers, his time seems to be up after being given a plethora of chances, and continuously either striking out or not giving any bit of offensive production.

As the deadline looms, look for the Dodgers to move on from Frasso and for Outman to go with him.
