Drake Baldwin and Michael Harris II delivered in the clutch Friday night, sparking a thrilling 6-4 comeback win for the Braves over the Minnesota Twins at Truist Park.

Down 4-1 entering the eighth inning, Atlanta staged its biggest rally of the season with a five-run outburst that saw nine batters come to the plate. The inning showcased the Braves’ 2025 resilience—four of their six wins have now come from behind.

Harris, who had been in an 0-for-17 slump, came through at a pivotal moment. With the Braves trailing 4-2 and runners on, the 24-year-old center fielder lined a two-run single to tie the game. It marked the 13th time in his career he has delivered a go-ahead or game-tying RBI in the seventh inning or later.

It was also his second late-game turnaround of the season, following a go-ahead two-run homer on April 12 against Tampa Bay.

Moments later, Baldwin delivered in his first career pinch-hit appearance. The 23-year-old rookie catcher, a former third-round pick out of Missouri State, ripped a go-ahead two-run single to give Atlanta the lead. Over the last four seasons, the Braves have recorded six go-ahead RBIs in the eighth inning or later by pinch-hitters, underscoring their depth.

The Braves improved to 2-0 in Friday home games this season and are 13-2 (.867) in such games since the start of 2024, second only to Seattle (14-2, .875). Since Truist Park opened in 2017, Atlanta’s 65-35 (.650) mark on Friday home games also trails only the Mariners’ 64-34 (.653) record.

For Harris and Baldwin, Friday night may have been more than just a win—it could be the beginning of bigger things.
