There are some players that don’t seem to have any trouble putting up MVP-level numbers.

Sometimes the tougher things get, the more locked in they become.

Such can be said for guys like Mike Trout and Mookie Betts.

The two stars from the Los Angeles Angels and the Los Angeles Dodgers, respectively, have a ton of experience coming through in the clutch and putting up MVP numbers.

There are four MVP awards between the two of them.

MLB Stats on Twitter posted a graphic comparing the stats of both Betts and Trout and how the two of them are on an MVP pace right now.

MVPs At It Again

These two guys are something else.

They are both complete players and understand what it means to be a Major Leaguer.

And how about those numbers?

In many of the categories, their numbers are almost identical.

The only sizable difference between the two of them is their OPS numbers.

Trout’s sits at 1.025, while Betts’ OPS sits at .892.

They both have hit close to 20 home runs on the year, and more are sure to come with the way these guys can hit.

It would be quite something to see both MVPs come from the same city.

Both Trout and Betts have been MVPs before and are no strangers to putting up gaudy numbers.

Of course, there will be stiff competition in both leagues, as Trout will have to contend with his own teammate, Shohei Ohtani, while Betts will have to contend with Paul Goldschmidt, who is putting up unbelievable numbers with the St. Louis Cardinals.

We’ll see what the rest of the year brings for these superstars and who ultimately comes away with the MVP awards.
