Minnesota Twins Roster Moves 05/09/2026

The Minnesota Twins have now lost three straight games after losing last night’s game 6-4 against the Guardians. The Twins have a 16-23 record this year and are in fifth place in the AL Central entering play today. Before game two of their series with the Cleveland Guardians, the Minnesota Twins announced two roster moves. They are sending a starter from their rotation to the injured list while calling up an arm from Triple-A.

Taj Bradley

The Minnesota Twins have placed Taj Bradley on the 15-day injured list. This move is retroactive to May 6th. The reason is the right pectoral muscle. Bradley has been the best starter this season for the Twins with a 4-1 record and a 2.87 ERA through eight starts. He has thrown 47 innings this year with 52 strikeouts, 17 walks, and a 1.19 WHIP. Hopefully, the inflammation will go down, and he won’t miss much time.

Travis Adams

The Minnesota Twins have recalled Travis Adams, a pitcher from Triple-A, today. Travis Adams pitched in 18 games with two starts for the Twins last season. He had a 1-4 record with a 7.49 ERA and a 1.66 WHIP through 33 and two-thirds innings pitched. Adams struck out 31 and walked 17 during his time with Minnesota last year. He is 3-0 with St. Paul this season in Triple-A. He has pitched in seven games with a 6.75 ERA.
