The Minnesota Twins are on the road for the middle game of their three-game American League Central series at Comerica Park against the Detroit Tigers. The Tigers won the opening game on Monday 6-3. The Twins are fourth in the AL Central with a 52-60 record and are sending young righty Zebby Matthews to the mound. The Tigers are leading the AL Central right now with a 66-48 record as they are having right-hander Chris Paddack get the start.

Minnesota Twins

Prediction

These teams are going to be able to score runs throughout the game and neither Zebby Matthews nor Chris Paddack is going to be in this game too long. The bullpens are not doing too well as the Twins are 23rd in baseball with a 4.42 bullpen ERA, while the Tigers are 21st with a 4.19 reliever ERA this season. With these teams able to score nine runs in the opening game of the series with zero hits with runners in scoring position, expect the over to be the better bet at almost even money.
