Minor league team unveils 'deluxe, high-end' toilet seats behind home plate

Fans who don't give a crap about pissing away some of their money now have a chance to use some brand new "deluxe, high-end" toilet seats at Classic Auto Group Park, home of the Lake County Captains.

Those attending home games of the High-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians won't have to miss any action on the field, however, as the "throne seating" is located right behind home plate.

The Captains are looking to combine "comfort with a splash of fun" according to a release, announcing the partnership with Roto-Rooter, with the "Roto-Rooter Toilet Row."

The release described the "unique seating experience" as a "groundbreaking first in Minor League Baseball" that will allow fans the chance to "enjoy the game from the comfort of deluxe, high-end toilets positioned right behind home plate."

There are eight seats in the row, which first became available for purchase on Thursday.

"Everyone deserves a VIP experience, and with Toilet Row, we’re taking that to a whole new level," Lake County general manager Jen Yorko said. "Thanks to Roto-Rooter, fans can now enjoy the game from the best 'seat' in the house."

The release describes the seats as "super comfortable" and "elegantly designed," which offers "unparalleled views" of the game.

As if that's not enough, each guest in the row gets "personalized attention" from Horatio, the team's "dedicated bathroom attendant." According to the release, Horatio will "ensure that your needs are met with mouthwash, combs and gum — keeping you fresh throughout the game."

Like most minor league baseball teams, the Captains are showcasing some truly unique in-game contests for fans and one of them will involve the attendees on "Toilet Row."

Every home game, two "brave souls" will compete in Roto-Rooter's Plunger Challenge, which sees who can "expertly launch and stick a plunger onto Roto Rooter’s target." The winners will earn a "prime spot" on Roto Rooter Toilet Row.
