It's a beautiful day for dingers in MLB, and it'd be even more beautiful if we could find a way to profit off of them. Let's do just that with my three favorite home run props for Thursday's slate.
Christian Yelich has been the hottest power hitter on the Milwaukee Brewers of late. His six home runs and 19 RBI over the last 30 days both lead the team, and he's staring down a golden matchup Thursday. Pittsburgh Pirates starter Mitch Keller is 0-3 with a 6.08 ERA over his last four starts, and he's given up six homers in that span. We'll take a shot at the +560 here.
Cody Bellinger has been on an absolute tear since the start of July. Over his last 24 games, the Chicago Cubs slugger is batting .394 and slugging .723 with nine home runs. Now he gets to face Cincinnati Reds starter Luke Weaver, who's given up eight home runs over his last five starts. Bellinger also has a great track record against Weaver with two homers in 10 career at-bats against the right-hander. This price shouldn't be this high.
No one in MLB is seeing the ball better than Freddie Freeman right now. The first baseman is hitting .489 over the last 15 days, and he's recorded a hit in nine of his last 12 at-bats. None of those hits happened to be home runs, but I think Freeman has a good chance to go yard Thursday with left-hander JP Sears on the mound. Freeman leads the Dodgers in batting average (.338) and home runs (11) against lefties this year. The wind will also be blowing straight out to center field at Dodger Stadium, so this couldn't be a better spot for a Freeman fly.
