Boom!! Adley Rutschman went yard not once, but twice to cash us a +600 ticket on Monday. We're looking to go back-to-back in home run props on Tuesday, and we're looking at these three players to help us out.
Rays at Red Sox, 7:10 p.m. ET
We're interested in fading Tampa Bay Rays starter Aaron Civale on Tuesday, seeing as he's already surrendered eight home runs in eight starts this season. Let's do just that with Tyler O'Neill, who's hit eight of his 10 home runs this year off right-handed pitching. O'Neill leads the Boston Red Sox in slugging percentage (.584) and barrel rate (19.2 percent). The wind at Fenway Park will also be blowing strongly out to left-center field during the game, which can only help our cause here.
Cardinals at Angels, 9:38 p.m. ET
Another starter we want to fade on Tuesday is Reid Detmers. The Los Angeles Angels lefty started the year off strong, but he's surrendered seven home runs over his last four starts. He now has the 14th-highest fly ball rate (32.8 percent) and the 23rd-highest barrel rate (9.8 percent) among qualified pitchers. Brendan Donovan doesn't have a homer off a lefty yet this year, but he still ranks second on the St. Louis Cardinals in slugging percentage (.370) against southpaws. This is a long shot at +900, but that's what makes it fun.
Dodgers at Giants, 9:45 p.m. ET
Shohei Ohtani is almost an auto-bet whenever his home run odds are higher than +350. The Los Angeles Dodgers superstar leads MLB in barrel rate (23.1 percent) and slugging percentage (.659) this year. The wind at Oracle Park will also be blowing strongly out to center field. This price is only +360 because San Francisco Giants starter Keaton Winn doesn't give up a ton of fly balls, but if anyone can take advantage of a mistake and barrel him up, it's going to be Ohtani.
