MLB HR props for Thursday 8/31: Everything points to homers in Braves-Dodgers

What a week it's been in home run props! We tacked on another winning ticket with Jason Heyward at +500 Wednesday night, which brings us to +15.4 units on the week. Is that any good?

Let's keep this profit train rolling with three more HR props for Thursday's MLB slate.

Ronald Acuna Jr. (+370 DraftKings)

Thursday night's matchup between the Atlanta Braves and the Los Angeles Dodgers features the two teams with the most home runs in MLB this season, so I have no problem tripling up on this game in HR props. Let's start with Ronald Acuna Jr., who's batting .345 with five home runs, five doubles, and two triples over the last month. Acuna has faced Dodgers starter Lance Lynn just three times in his career, but his only hit against him was a homer. 

Max Muncy (+420 FanDuel)

This is a disrespectful price on one of the best home run hitters in the league this season. I get that it's not easy to take Spencer Strider yard, but Muncy is batting .304 with three homers and six doubles over his last 46 at-bats. All he needs is one fastball in the middle of the plate to make Strider pay, and at +420, I think this is well worth the gamble.

Marcell Ozuna (+420 FD)

Marcell Ozuna's recent power surge has been something to behold. The Braves DH homered again Wednesday night to make it seven home runs in his last nine games. Ozuna is batting .435 and slugging a ridiculous .957 over the last two weeks, but Lynn won't be afraid to attack him Thursday night. Lynn has given up the most home runs in MLB this year because he routinely challenges hitters with fastballs in the zone. That may not be the best strategy against the hottest power hitter in baseball.
