A pair of former Atlanta Braves will be soon lending their expertise to future MLB stars.

Hall of Famer Chipper Jones and two-time All-Star Marquis Grissom have been named the managers for the 2025 All-Star Futures Game in Atlanta it was announced Monday.

"This is a tremendous opportunity, one that I just couldn't pass up," Jones said during an interview with MLB Central following the announcement.

"The last time the All-Star Game was in Atlanta, I was actually playing in it. The time before that, Hank Aaron was actually playing in it. Any chance you get to be a part of this, and especially get an up close and personal look at the next generation coming up, and being in charge of allowing them to be able to showcase their talents to the best of their ability in the Futures Game, I couldn't pass that up."

Across his 19-year MLB career, all with the Braves, Jones collected 2,726 hits (.303 BA), 468 home runs and 1,623 RBI. With 410 votes (97.2% of the ballots), he was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2018.

Grissom, who began his career with the Montreal Expos in 1989, was a key member of the 1995 Braves team that went on to capture the World Series. In 17 seasons with six different teams, Grissom hit .272 with 227 home runs and 429 stolen bases.

Grissom will be managing the AL Futures team, while Jones manages the NL side.

They aren't the only former Braves legends, however, who will be coaching in the game. Hall of Famer Fred McGriff, 2-time NL MVP Dale Murphy, and former All-Stars Andruw Jones and Tim Hudson, and 1995 World Series Champion Ryan Klesko will also be lending their experience.

The 26th edition of the MLB All-Stars Futures Game will take place Saturday, July 12 from Atlanta's Truist Park.
