A frustrating day yesterday, losing two of three selections, with both team total selections missing by half a run. Back to grind with a humpday edition of our MLB parlay picks. Our season record falls to 49-36 ATS. Our followers know we target games, seeing respected money and, more precisely, reverse line movements. We have another three selections on tap for you, along with some additional leans that we like based on the line movement. The betting lines discussed are the consensus at Vegas Insider and are subject to change.
In the lead-off spot of today’s MLB parlay is the Minnesota Twins over the Los Angeles Dodgers. We had the Twins as one of our leans yesterday, and they delivered. Today, we have them featured in our opening leg. Minnesota is seeing respected money come in on them. Despite netting just 18% of the money, the line is moving in the Twins’ direction. They opened up as a +241 underdog and now sit at +180. Minnesota has won two of its last three against the Dodgers, both straight up and as an underdog. We follow our norm and take the Twins on the moneyline for play number one.
The second leg of today’s MLB parlay will be the Baltimore Orioles over the Cleveland Guardians. Another reverse line movement action here as Baltimore is seeing only 16% of the money bets and yet has dropped from an opening +132 underdog down to +110. We are going strictly off the sharp money in this one. Baltimore is just 5-5 SU in their last 10 games as an underdog, albeit for a profit. On the other side, Cleveland is 5-5 SU in their last 10 games versus the Orioles, so they are far from a sure thing tonight. We will back the Baltimore Orioles for play number two!
Closing out today’s parlay will be the Tampa Bay Rays team total over 4.5 runs. We fell short on this play last night, but we will run it back tonight. The Rays put up a four-spot in the bottom of the second last night and went scoreless the rest of the way, so they should have cashed this selection. They are again one of the biggest favorites on the MLB betting slate today, and we like their chances against White Sox starter Jonathan Cannon.
Cannon has a 4.70 ERA in his last four road starts, and the Rays are averaging right at five runs per game on this current homestand. We like our chances to cash this one. Tampa Bay Rays team total over 4.5 runs for play number three!
ADDITIONAL LEANS: Athletics ML
The beauty of our MLB parlays is that we can provide our followers with three individual plays. We will play these picks SU because the hit rate on a three-team parlay is about 6-1, not a long-term profitable betting strategy. Hitting on the parlay is simply icing on the cake. We avoid public plays, which tend to be the betting favorites. Please follow us on X and Facebook as the MLB season continues toward the Fall Classic. Let’s keep the hot streak going and get you another three winners. And remember: Follow or Fade!
