Frustrating day once again losing two of three selections, with both team side plays losing by one run. We keep the grind going today with a Thursday edition of our MLB parlay picks. We have a very limited betting slate today, and our record now stands at 50-38 ATS. Our followers know we target games, seeing respected money and, more precisely, reverse line movements. We have another three selections on tap for you. Betting lines discussed are the consensus at Vegas Insider and are subject to change.
Leading off our MLB parlay will be the Toronto Blue Jays over the Detroit Tigers. This shapes up as a big series in a battle of two first-place teams. We spotted a burner line on Toronto with both the public and sharp money coming in on them. The Jays are getting 75% of the money wagers, but there is respected money within that, moving them from an opening +137 underdog down to +108. We would not be surprised to see them go off at even money before tonight’s first pitch.
The Blue Jays just took two of three from the Yankees and have won four of their last five and six of their last 10 overall. Give us the Toronto Blue Jays money line for play number one!
The middle leg of our MLB parlay is the St. Louis Cardinals’ team total over 4.5 runs. St. Louis is a decent-sized favorite, and followers know we go right after the team total of the bigger chalks. The Cards return home after their dismal 1-5 road trip. St. Louis is averaging right at five runs per game in their last six at home and are lined up to face Yu Darvish.
Darvish has struggled since his return from injury, posting an 0-2 record with a 6.08 ERA. He allowed nine earned runs in just 13.1 innings pitched. We expect this to continue based on recent performance and like the Cards’ offense in this spot. St. Louis alternate team total over 3.5 runs for play number two!.
The final leg of today’s parlay is the Los Angeles Angels team total over 4.5 runs. The Angels are another decent sized favorite tonight and we will attack this the same way as we did with the Cardinals. L.A. will return home off a six game road trip, where they have scored 39 runs and averaged just under six runs per game in the last seven contests. On the other side, Seattle’s pitching staff has allowed 33 total runs in their last four games. We like our chances here backing the Angels offense. Los Angeles team total over 4.5 runs for play number three!
The beauty of our MLB parlays is that we can provide our followers with three individual plays. We will play these picks SU because the hit rate on a three-team parlay is about 6-1, not a long-term profitable betting strategy. Hitting on the parlay is simply icing on the cake. We avoid public plays, which tend to be the betting favorites. Please follow us on X and Facebook as the MLB season continues toward the Fall Classic. Let’s keep the hot streak going and get you another three winners. And remember: Follow or Fade!
