Juan Soto over Teoscar Hernandez? Soto over Seiya Suzuki? Where's Pete Crow-Armstrong?

Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday after several MLB.com experts posted their All-MLB team predictions through May of this season.

The list was bound to generate some level of dissatisfaction, and got a lot of positions right. Stars Max Fried, Paul Skenes, Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Zack Wheeler were among the pitchers who got their flowers with a first-team All-MLB team nod.

Notably missing from this list, leading to a large outcry from Yankee fans, was their closer.

Yankees closer Luke Weaver didn't make the First or Second All-MLB team, albeit not being an official nod but rather a prediction from the website's panel of experts.

Despite Weaver's sterling 0.73 ERA and 0.69 WHIP, Weaver was ranked below Andres Munoz, Josh Hader, Mason Miller and Robert Suarez.

Since this list was a prediction for the final All-MLB rankings, clearly the thought is that Weaver's sparkling stats will fall from now until October.

The case for Munoz and Hader are fair; Munoz still has yet to give up an earned run and Hader's 36% strikeout percentage easily bests Weaver's 26%.

Where many have questioned was Weaver being put below Miller, who has a 5.79 ERA and 1.39 WHIP and Suarez, who has nearly 1 whole WAR less than Weaver.

Fans showed their distaste for the snub:

"Luke Weaver disrespect is crazy," one X user commented.

"Luke weaver continues to be disrespected," wrote another.

"How is Luke Weaver not on here?" said another.

Only time will tell how this list ages, but Mason Miller is in need of a serious rebound in order to justify his placement above Weaver at this time in the year.
