Monday's Twins-A's game postponed due to COVID-19 issues

Monday's game between the Minnesota Twins and Oakland Athletics at Oakland Coliseum has been postponed as the Twins continue to conduct testing and contact tracing for COVID-19.

The game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday.

The Twins' games against the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday and Sunday were also postponed due to COVID-19 issues. The team has returned four positive tests over the past week.

Andrelton Simmons, Kyle Garlick, an unnamed player and a team staff member tested positive for the virus.

Major League Baseball has seen six games postponed this season due to COVID-19 issues, including a season-opening three-game series between the Washington Nationals and New York Mets.

Forty-five games were postponed due to the virus last season.
