Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts announced the launch of a new premium baseball glove company, LGND, founded alongside his lifelong friends Cameron Lewis, Brandon McPhail and Andrew Montgomery.

LGND says they are built on a commitment to elite performance, craftsmanship, and innovation, developing high-quality gloves designed to help athletes play with confidence at every level of the game.

LGND debuted with two glove collections at $329 each: MOOK Series and MVRK Series. They are available now at LGNDSports.com and select events nationwide.

The flagship MOOK Series is inspired directly by Betts’ experience as an elite defensive player and one of the few players in MLB history to be an All-Star as both an infielder and outfielder.

Constructed with premium Japanese kip leather, the MOOK gloves feature Betts’ signature stamp in the palm, his game-worn colorway and the iconic 50 Tri-Star logo embroidered on the thumb.

The MVRK Series delivers the same Japanese leather base, with distinct styling and a versatile design built for athletes who play multiple positions.

Both glove lines are engineered to offer a lighter feel and faster break-in period than many leading retail glove brands, allowing athletes to get game-ready more quickly while maintaining the durability and structure expected from a professional-quality glove.

“Every detail matters when you’re on the field, and your glove is one of the most important tools you have,” Betts said in a statement. “I started this with the intention to build something that reflected the way I play the game, which is with passion, preparation and attention to detail.

“LGND is about giving young players a glove they can trust from the first time they put it on. Whether you’re chasing a championship, working toward a college scholarship or just falling in love with baseball, I want these gloves to help young players perform at their best.”

In addition to its premium glove offerings, LGND features an interactive glove customization platform that allows players to design a glove that reflects their individual style and preferences.

Customers can personalize glove elements, choose from a variety of leather color combinations and design options in real time before completing their purchase. The digital experience gives athletes control over the look and feel of their glove.

Betts’ friendship with Lewis, McPhail and Montgomery trace back to their high school days as student-athletes.

Lewis, a former collegiate and professional basketball player, has played a key role in helping Betts build and expand his personal brand throughout his career.

McPhail, who holds a degree in Sports Management, oversees day-to-day business operations and strategic growth initiatives across Betts’ expanding portfolio of ventures.

Montgomery, a former collegiate football player and practicing attorney, serves as legal counsel, providing guidance on legal, business and commercial matters.

Young baseball players and their families are welcome to attend, and children under 10 are free.

Adults are $25 per person unless they are included with a LGND glove owner or LGND Ultimate Pass. LGND glove owners receive free event entry for a player and two parents/guardians.

Attendees also have the option to purchase a LGND glove at a special promotional price of $249, a savings of $80 off the normal price, and it includes a free event ticket and two guest tickets.
