Noah Syndergaard Is Trolling MLB On Twitter Over The Lockout

Noah Syndergaard was able to join in on the MLB free-agent frenzy before the league decided to lockout the players this week.

He signed a lucrative one-year deal with the Los Angeles Angels as he tries to prove he can still lead a rotation and live up to the “Thor” nickname.

But Syndergaard, like every other MLB player, is in a holding pattern as they are not allowed to report to work as long as the lockout lingers on.

One odd step was for the league to remove player headshots from official team sites.

A bunch of players, including Syndergaard, joined in on the fun by using their new headshot as a Twitter avatar.

But the new Angels pitcher took it a step further by poking fun at a ridiculous letter written by Commissioner Rob Manfred.

The battle is on and the players aren’t giving up any ground.

Syndergaard Having Some Fun

Having fun is all Syndergaard and other players can really do at this point.

They have to let their representation fight it out with the owners over basic things like better pay for younger players and a more fair free-agent process.

The letter he is referencing is one written by Manfred that is the only piece of new content available on MLB websites and social media accounts.

As expected, he blames the players and their union for this lockout, even though it was voluntarily put in place by the owners.

Trying to make fans believe otherwise is just evil.

This is only the beginning and the jokes made by Syndergaard and others may turn into frustration as time goes on.

Missing games means missing paychecks and no side is going to laugh about that.
