Philadelphia Phillies Designated Hitter Kyle Schwarber made history tonight on the road against the Chicago White Sox. He hit a two-run home run, his 37th of the year, in the top of the 3rd inning. His 37 home runs are the most in franchise history before August.

It has been a stellar season for the Phillies slugger. He is third in the league in home runs, third in RBI, fourth in Slugging Percentage, and fourth in OPS. He was also named All-Star Game MVP earlier this month. Will Schwarber keep swinging the bat at such a high level?

Schwarber has been one of the most ferocious power hitters in the league since debuting with the Chicago Cubs in 2016. He is a three-time MLB All-Star, Silver Slugger, and helped the Cubs break their 108-year World Series drought. His career has also included stints with the Washington Nationals and Boston Red Sox. He has been a member of the Philadelphia Phillies since 2021.
