Philadelphia Phillies Designated Hitter Kyle Schwarber has gotten off to a strong start in 2025. With a home run on Thursday afternoon, he has the second-most home runs(19) through the first 55 games in franchise history. Only Mike Schmidt in 1980 and Cy Williams in 1923 had more home runs through 55 games with 20.

Schwarber is second in the league in home runs, eighth in RBI, fifth in Slugging Percentage, and sixth in OPS. Will Schwarber continue being a key contributor to the Philadelphia Phillies?

Philadelphia’s pitching staff has been middling. They are 11th in ERA, 16th in WHIP, and 18th in opposing batting average. Starting Pitchers Jesus Luzardo and Zack Wheeler have both been great. Luzardo is eighth in ERA and ninth in strikeouts. Wheeler is 12th in ERA, fifth in strikeouts, and fourth in WHIP.
