Philadelphia Philliesfirst basemanBryce Harper's performance since May has helped the club turn their season around. After a disastrous start, the Phillies have been one of the best teams in baseball since firing former manager Rob Thomson, and entering Wednesday they owned a 40-33 record.
Across 73 games, Harper has posted a .250 batting average, .360 on-base percentage, .844 OPS, 15 home runs and 40 RBIs. The 33-year-old had much to prove this year after being publicly called out by president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski, who questioned his ability to remain an elite talent.
Harper has answered thus far, and the Phillies need him to keep it going if they want to make a deeper run this October.
Harper remains one of the most accomplished players of his generation, a former Rookie of the Year, two-time MVP, eight-time All-Star and four-time Silver Slugger. He is one of the faces of baseball and one of the sport's most marketable superstars.
Harper has used that platform to promote something he genuinely believes in. Prior to the season, he announced he had become a brand ambassador for Just Ingredients, a health and wellness company focused on clean and natural products.
The partnership made plenty of sense. Harper regularly shares homemade recipes on his TikTok account, cooking for his family using all-natural ingredients, so aligning with a brand built around that same philosophy was a natural fit.
On Wednesday, Harper announced his latest signature product with the company, a new electrolyte flavor he helped create himself.
"Meet the newest member of the lineup: Spicy Jawn. ️ Created with Bryce Harper, this new electrolyte flavor brings the perfect kick while delivering the clean ingredients and quality you expect from Just Ingredients," the caption read.
To celebrate the launch, the brand is offering 20% off the new product as well as every other item Harper has created with Just Ingredients, including his signature protein powders in caramel latte and banana bread flavors.
