Phillies’ Bryce Harper Catches Attention with New Tattoo
Peter Aiken-USA TODAY Sports

Last postseason, the Philadelphia Phillies lost to the New York Mets in five games in the NLDS.

In 2025, there are big expectations once again for the Phillies as ESPN ranked them fifth on a recent stock watch.

Bryce Harper enters the season fresh off a 30-home run, 87-RBI season. As he showed up to spring training, Harper showed off his new tattoo.

The tattoo is of the Phillie Phanatic and is from an artist in Utah, Hannah Matthews.

Harper has rocked the Phillie Phanatic. He wore cleats, and a running glove and even gave the Phanatic a gift previously, and now he has a tattoo to show for it.

It's quite the gesture from Harper, and fans had a lot of different reactions after the ink was revealed.

"Holy W," the Sleeper MLB account wrote

"Respect," another said

"Well done and it looks amazing," another wrote

"Gotta love it," another stated

"Bryce is such a fun team player. Doesn’t get enough credit for his fun factor," another said

"Damn Harper this tattoo are so sick," another stated

"That man is straight up obsessed with the phanatic," said another.

"Pandering god out here, love it," another stated

Hannah Matthews, the artist who did the tattoo, expressed her gratitude for being able to do the work.

"I'll never know why I got this opportunity of a lifetime - but I could not be more grateful to Bryce for asking me to do this Phillies phanatic piece!!"

The history between Harper and the Phillie Phanatic has now been taken to another level with the ink for the superstar slugger.
