Philadelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto was not on the COVID-19 injured list for long.

Realmuto reported symptoms often linked with coronavirus cases on Wednesday and was placed on the IL ahead of the Thursday afternoon matchup against the Washington Nationals even though he hadn't tested positive for the virus. Per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN), the 30-year-old did not travel with the team but instead flew to Florida on his own in time to play Friday.
Across 33 games this season, Realmuto is hitting .314 with four home runs and 16 RBIs.
The Phillies began the start of the weekend's action at 20-18 overall and 1.5 games behind the New York Mets in the National League East standings.
