Each of the four Pirates’ affiliates picked up a win on Thursday, with 2021 first overall pick Henry Davis leading the charge with a two-homer game.

Triple-A Indianapolis outlasted a comeback attempt from the Iowa Cubs, logging six homers in the 10-8 win. Beyond Davis, Matt Gorski—who enjoyed a multi-homer game himself on Sunday—Andrés Alvarez, Malcom Nuñez and Gilberto Celestino each cleared the fences.

The offensive explosion trickled down into Double-A, where the Altoona Curve slugged five home runs to beat the Erie Sea Wolves 11-5.

Runs scored tailed off in High-A, but the Greensboro Grasshoppers still put together a 5-3 win over the Greenville Drive. Hunter Barco got the start, allowing two runs and punching out three batters in five innings of work.

The Bradenton Marauders rounded out the slate with a 6-3 win, going 5-for-10 with runners in scoring position despite managing just one extra base hit.
