Sebastian Walcott was born in Nassau, Bahamas, on March 14, 2006. Walcott was ranked eighth in the international Top 30 prospects in 2020.

Walcott was signed by the Texas Rangers in January 2023.

Walcott’s first season he played for the Rangers Dominican Summer League team, their rookie league team, and High-A Hickory. He played in 48 games and slashed .246/.335/.471 with a .806 OPS; he had 13 doubles, four triples, seven home runs, 24 RBI, 32 runs scored, 12 stolen bases, and 23 walks.
