Report: A's re-sign Mike Fiers to one-year, $3.5 million deal

Mike Fiers is remaining with the Oakland Athletics.

According to The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal, the A's re-signed the right-hander to a one-year, $3.5 million deal.

Fiers has spent the last two and a half seasons with the A's after being traded by the Detroit Tigers. The 35-year-old has a 4.00 ERA and 1.200 WHIP in 296.2 innings with the A's.

The Florida native will remain with a rotation that includes Sean Manaea, Frankie Montas, Jesus Luzardo and Chris Bassitt.

Before moving to Oakland, Fiers played for the Milwaukee Brewers and Houston Astros.
