Report: No new Marlins tested positive for coronavirus on Friday

The Miami Marlins got some relatively decent news on Saturday morning.

According to MLB Network's Jon Heyman, no new Marlins have tested positive for the coronavirus from Friday's tests.

The news comes after 18 players and two coaches tested positive for COVID-19 in the span of a week.

Miami's season currently is on hold due to the coronavirus outbreak, and the team is getting a bus to bring coronavirus-infected players and staff back to Florida. The rest reportedly will remain in Philadelphia and then travel to Baltimore, New York and Buffalo to continue their season.

The coronavirus also has made its way to other Major League Baseball clubhouses. The Philadelphia Phillies' weekend series against the Toronto Blue Jays has been postponed after multiple members of the organization have tested positive for COVID-19.

The St. Louis Cardinals also reported two positive cases on Friday, resulting in their series opener against the Milwaukee Brewers being postponed.
