Rhys Hoskins' wife Jayme gives Phillies fans more reason to cheer in Game 3 of World Series

Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins hit the last of the team's record-tying five home runs Tuesday night in their 7-0 win over the Houston Astros in Game 3 of the World Series. Hours earlier, Hoskins' wife, Jayme, was apparently buying a round of drinks for some lucky Phillies fans at Citizens Bank Park.

One of the longer tenured Phillies players, Hoskins was selected by the organization in the fifth round of the 2014 MLB June Amateur Draft and made his big-league debut in 2017. He notched a career-high 145 hits during the 2022 regular season and finished with 30 home runs, 79 RBI and a .246/.332/.462 slash line over 589 at-bats in 156 games played.

With this fall being Philadelphia's first trip to the playoffs since 2011, it's also given Hoskins his first taste of the postseason. The 29-year-old has gone 11-for-56 with six home runs and 12 RBI across 14 games during the Phillies playoff run.

Game 4 of the World Series is slated to begin at 8:03 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
