Ronald Acuña Jr. has already accomplished plenty in his MLB career, but as he prepares for the 2025 season, he’s focused on a few key goals: staying healthy, maintaining his high-energy style, and helping the Atlanta Braves achieve another postseason run.
After an MVP-winning performance in 2023, Acuña faced a series of injuries in 2024 that impacted his production. Now, with 2025 on the horizon, the star outfielder is placing extra emphasis on durability.
“The most important thing for me is staying healthy,” Acuña said. “If I’m on the field, I can help my team win. That’s the goal—being there every day, playing hard, and improving. You never know who’s watching you for the first time, so I always want to give my best effort.”
In addition to his health, Acuña is determined to keep bringing the energy that’s become his trademark. Known for his electrifying style of play, he understands how much his energy impacts the game.
“I always try to bring that energy and effort,” he added. “That’s what helps me play better and helps my teammates, too. When I go out there and put in the work, it pushes everyone to be better. Whether it’s hitting, running, or making plays, I want to do it at 100%.”
