Ronald Acuña makes more history in Braves win over Guardians
Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

The Braves stayed hot on Monday night behind a stellar night from Michael Harris II and another rock solid performance out of Bryce Elder.

Harris was the star of the night. His two solo homers were the difference in the game, as he continues his hot stretch at the plate. Elder held the Guardians scoreless for the first six inning before finally giving up a two-run single with two outs in the seventh.

However, it was none other than Ronald Acuña that set more history in the win. It was a rather quiet night for Ronald, who went just 1-for-4 with a single, but following that single, he stole yet another base. The swiped bag gives Acuña 40 on the season, making him the first player in MLB history to have 20+ homers, 40+ steals, and 50+ RBIs before the All-Star break.

What makes this even crazier is there are still five games left before Acuña heads to Seattle for the All-Star Game. Every night, he sets the bar even higher, and he has a real chance at hitting 40 homers with 80 steals this season, something nobody has come even close to accomplishing.
