Bogaerts made his Major League Baseball debut as a member of the Boston Red Sox in 2013. He spent the first 10 seasons of his career in Boston before spending the last two seasons with the San Diego Padres. He signed a monster 11-year $280 million contract with the Padres in December of 2022. He is a four-time MLB All-Star(2016, 2019, 2021-2022) and a five-time Silver Slugger Award winner(2015-16, 2019, 2021-22).
