Louisville Slugger announced Finalists for the 2024 Silver Slugger Awards with the Los Angeles Dodgers represented by Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, Teoscar Hernández, Will Smith, Mookie Betts and a team honor.

Freeman finished as a finalist at first base with Bryce Harper (Philadelphia Phillies) and Pete Alonso (New York Mets) while Will Smith is among the top-three at catcher with William Contreras (Milwaukee Brewers) and J.T. Realmuto (Phillies).

Ohtani’s only competition at designated hitter comes from Marcell Ozuna of the Atlanta Braves. Betts finished as a finalist for the utility silver slugger award, along with Luis Arraez (San Diego Padres), Jake Burger (Miami Marlins) and Bryan Reynolds (Pittsburgh Pirates).

In the outfield, Teoscar Hernández faces competition from Jackson Churio (Brewers), Jackson Merrill and Jurickson Profar (Padres) and Seiya Suzuki (Chicago Cubs).

The Dodgers are up for the National League Silver Slugger team honor with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

25 of MLB’s 30 teams have at least one finalist. These finalists, and ultimately the 2024 Silver Slugger Award winners, are determined by a vote of MLB Managers and Coaches who base their selections on a variety of offensive statistics including OPS, OPS+, HR, Hits, Runs, RBI, Average and overall offensive value.

2024 Silver Slugger Award winners will be announced in a special Silver Slugger Award telecast on MLB Network at 3 p.m. PT, Tuesday, November 12.
