Tampa Bay Rays Finding Form With 6th Straight Win

The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Minnesota Twins 7-2 on Memorial Day. It was Tampa Bay’s sixth straight win. This strong week of baseball has helped the Rays move above .500 for the first time since April 4. Tampa Bay has outscored the opposition 37-10 over their seven-game winning streak. 

The Rays have been great on offense and the mound over their winning streak. Will the Tampa Bay Rays continue playing well and stringing together wins?

Tampa Bay Rays Season Summary

Tampa’s winning streak has them in second place in the American League East at 27-26. Tampa Bay’s offense has been mediocre in 2025. They are 18th in batting average, 19th in home runs, and 17th in runs scored. First Baseman Jonathan Arnada is 14th in the league in batting average. Center Fielder Chandler Simpson has had a historic start to his MLB career.

Tampa Bay’s pitching staff has been strong. They are 10th in the league in ERA, 12th in opposing batting average, and seventh in WHIP. It has been a committee-like approach for the the team as no pitcher has stood out this season.
