After the Chicago White Sox jumped out to a 2-0 ALDS lead over the Guardians in Cleveland, the Guardians returned the favor in Chicago to set up a winner-take-all Game 5 at Progressive Field.
If the White Sox are going to avoid choking a lead away to the Guardians for the second time this year, they’re likely going to need 2026 RBI leader Miguel Vargas’ bat to wake up.
Vargas – who hit .250 with 35 home runs and led the club with 93 RBI in his first All-Star season this year – is hitting just .211 in the playoffs with a solo home run in Game 4 against Cleveland accounting for his only RBI in October. The good news is that despite getting just four hits so far in the postseason, he’s still getting on base with eight walks across the first four games of the series.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the players to lead their respective teams in RBI for the 2026 MLB season can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
