The Boston Red Sox weren’t able to close out the New York Yankees in Game 2 of the American League Wild Card, but fans can’t blame shortstop Trevor Story. Story – who has two hits in each of the Wild Card games so far – drove in all three runs for the Red Sox in their 4-3 loss to send the series to a win-or-go-home Game 3.
Regardless of what happens in the postseason, 2025 has been a great year for Story simply because he’s been able to stay on the diamond. Coming into the season, Story had played in just 163 games over three seasons with Boston before tying his career-high with 157 games this year. Story was a good hitter for Boston with a full body of work, hitting 25 home runs and driving in 96 runs with a .263 average.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. 2025 was the sixth time Story hit over 20 home runs in a season, but the first time he’s done it with the Boston Red Sox. With that being said, can you name the active MLB players with the most 20-home-run seasons?
Good luck!
