The 'Active MLB 200-strikeout seasons' quiz

There hasn’t been much positive about the Pittsburgh Pirates 2025 season, but one of the few things fans have been able to get excited about is pitcher Paul Skenes. The sensational starter in his second year has the lowest ERA in the Majors at 1.92, and this week he broke the 200-strikeout barrier for the first time in his career.

Despite throwing just 64 pitches in a load management move by the Pirates as Skenes wraps up his first full season in the Big Leagues, Skenes still struck out eight Orioles over five shutout innings in what turned into a 2-1 extra-inning loss.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. At 23 years old, Skenes became the eighth Pirate to reach the 200-strikeout milestone and the fourth pitcher in 2025 to hit that mark. With that being said, can you name every active MLB pitcher to get 200 K’s in a season can you name in six minutes?

Good luck!
