The Los Angeles Dodgers will take on the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley field on Tuesday night, and when they do, they’ll trot out their latest stud in pitcher Tarik Skubal.
The back-to-back Cy Young winner was easily the biggest prize of the 2026 MLB trade deadline, and while many were upset with him joining the Dodgers, few were surprised.
Skubal will be a free agent at the end of the season and missed a bit of time this year after elbow surgery, but makes the Dodgers rotation easily the most intimidating in baseball even without Shohei Ohtani on the mound. As they look to become the first team to complete the World Series three-peat since the 1998-2000 Yankees, Skubal takes them from a strong to overwhelming favorite.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. In his time with the Detroit Tigers, Skubal racked up 61 wins, 1,005 strikeouts and two Cy Young awards. With that being said, can you name the American League Cy Young winners since 1967 can you name in seven minutes?
Good luck!
