The New York Yankees are welcoming the Boston Red Sox to the Bronx for the first time in 2026 this weekend, but they’ll be doing so without one of baseball’s biggest stars. After missing the series against the Cleveland Guardians, slugger Aaron Judge has now been ruled out indefinitely with a stress fracture in a rib.
The three-time MVP will reportedly be reexamined in 4-to-6 weeks, meaning the Yankees will be without the face of their franchise for significant time once again.
The news is ominous for Yankees fans, who have become accustomed to rough stretches through the dog days of the MLB season over the past couple of years. The good thing for Yankee fans is that New York swept Boston in Fenway back in April without scoring more than four runs in any single game and minimal production from Judge.
With Judge out and Stanton still recovering from his own injury, the Yankees will need Jazz Chisholm Jr.’s resurgence since taking Stanton’s pants to continue. While Chisholm Jr. is behind schedule for the 50-HR/50-steal season he predicted before the campaign, he’s gotten his average up to .238 after seeing it drop to as low as .200 on May 12.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Chisholm has shown throughout his career and in this season that he can be a menace once he gets on base, with 15 of his 145-career stolen bases coming on 18 attempts so far in 2026. With that being said, can you name the active MLB players with the most stolen bases?
Good luck!
