The 'MLB Home Run Derby champions' quiz

It took a distance tie-breaker that came down to less than an inch  for Cal Raleigh to get past Brent Rooker in the first round of the 2025 Home Run Derby. Hitting pitches thrown by his father Todd Raleigh with his younger brother Todd Jr. behind the plate, Raleigh beat O’Neil Cruz by a much more comfortable six home run margin before beating Tampa Bay’s Junior Caminero 18-15 in the final round.

“An inch off and I’m not even in the final four, which is amazing,” Raleigh said after the victory. “So I guess I got lucky there. One extra biscuit.”

Raleigh has been the premier power hitter in Major League Baseball in 2025, mashing 38 home runs before the All-Star break.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Raleigh hit 54 total home runs to become the first switch-hitter, first catcher and second Seattle Mariner ever to win the Home Run Derby. How many of the champions can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
