Happy 50th birthday to nine-time Gold Glover, five-time All-Star, two-time Silver Slugger and 2016 Twins Hall of Fame inductee Torii Hunter!
Hunter played 19 seasons in Major League Baseball, patrolling center field for the Minnesota Twins for most of that time. Not only was he a brilliant fielder but he could handle himself at the plate as well, retiring with a .277 batting average to go with 2,452 hits, 1,391 RBI and 353 home runs.
Which brings us to today's quiz.
Since 1957, MLB has awarded players for superior individual fielding performances at each position with the Rawlings Gold Glove Award. In that time, 223 different players have earned at least nine Gold Gloves at their respective positions. Can you name them all in five minutes?
Good luck!
