The Toronto Blue Jays made their first ALCS appearance since 2016, but if they want it to last more than four games, they’ll need Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to bring his bat with him to Seattle.
Guerrero Jr. has been one of the most exciting hitters in baseball since becoming a Major Leaguer in 2019, and he was unstoppable in the ALDS against the New York Yankees. In their 3-1 series win over their American League East rival, hitting .529 with nine RBI and three home runs.
But in the two ALCS Games against the Seattle Mariners, the slugger is hitless with one walk in eight plate appearances. The sample size is very small, but the trend needs to reverse if the Blue Jays have a chance to make the World Series for the first time since 1993.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Guerrero Jr. led all of MLB in runs created with 144 in 2021. With that being said, how many of the MLB players with the most runs created in each season since 1990 can you name in six minutes?
Good luck!
