Christian Yelich got just one at-bat in the Milwaukee Brewers 9-7 come-from-behind win to complete the sweep over the Chicago White Sox, but it was an important one.
Trailing 7-3 heading into the bottom of the eighth, Yelich capped off a six-run frame for Milwaukee by mashing a three-run homer while pinch hitting for Gary Sanchez. After the rally, Yelich said he wasn’t surprised by the team’s resilience.
“We have a lot of the same guys from last year. We’re an experienced group together that’s been through the ups and downs of the season,” he said.
We’ve been behind in games and come back and won. That’s why everybody today was like, ‘We’re fine. We’re going to be in this thing. Let’s chip away.’”
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Entering his age-34 season, Yelich has been one of the most consistent offensive producers in baseball when healthy for over a decade. With that being said, can you name every player to lead MLB in runs created 1990?
Good luck!
