While the Los Angeles Dodgers era of dominance has been defined by generational names like Shohei Ohtani, Clayton Kershaw and Freddie Freeman, it has also been fueled by lesser-known but equally important players up and down their lineup.
Perhaps nobody embodies that role better than Max Muncy, who has made just three All-Star teams in nine seasons with the Dodgers but simply continues to produce in October. That continued in the NLDS against the Atlanta Braves, where Muncy hit three home runs in four games, including a solo shot in their series-clinching win on Wednesday.
Of all the famous names that have represented the Dodgers, it is Muncy who has the most playoff home runs in franchise history with 19. Now he gets a chance to increase that total in a rematch of the 2025 NLCS with the Milwaukee Brewers.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Muncy has hit at least three home runs in six different MLB Playoffs, a number tied for the most in big league history. With that being said, how many of the players to hit at least three homers in multiple postseasons can you name in eight minutes?
Good luck!
